Rolling Stone No. 38 – July 26, 1969 – Jim Morrison Cover

Rolling Stone No. 38, dated July 26, 1969, featuring Jim Morrison on a striking purple cover and the headline “Rolling Stone Interview: Jim Morrison.” A standout piece for a Doors fan or collector of vintage rock magazines.

The cover also headlines “Rock, Teargas and Festivals.” The photographed interior features “Crashers, Cops, Producers Spoil Newport ’69,” while the back cover carries a Ballantine Books promotion featuring Bob Dylan and Lenny Bruce.

Condition: Nice shape overall for its age, with visible paper toning, light handling creases, and wear along the edges and corners, including small nicks to exposed page edges. Please review the photos for the condition of this copy.

A colourful snapshot of the late-1960s music press, with Morrison front and centre.
